ANALYSIS OF INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN COMBATING CORRUPTION

Purpose. The aim of the article is conducting a comparative analysis of international experience of using anti-corruption methods in different countries of the world and studying the possibilities of their implementation in Ukraine.
Methodology of research. Methodological basis of scientific work are general scientific and specific methods of research, in particular: methods of analysis and synthesis used in the process of analysis of international experience in combating corruption; the social deterministic method is used in the process of identifying and addressing the main causes of the emergence and spread of a phenomenon such as corruption; the method of historical analysis and the comparative legal method – in the study of methods of combating corruption in different countries of the world.
Findings. The methods of combating corruption in different countries of the world have been explored and analyzed. The necessity to borrow national strategies to combat corruption in developed countries and to introduce them into the present of our state is substantiated. The following anti-corruption methods are proposed for implementation: the use of a polygraph for mandatory verification of all state officials; introduction into the curriculum of educational institutions of all levels of information on corruption offenses, responsibilities and ways of overcoming it; securing, at the legislative level, strict control and responsibility for corruption crimes; introduction of an online monitoring system and anti-corruption programs; the use of confiscation of property in the course of a corrupt crime; creation of a register of individuals and legal entities for which there is a suspicion of committing corruption offenses.
Originality. A comparative analysis of the methods of combating corruption in different countries of the world is carried out and suggestions on implementation of modern methods of combating corruption in Ukraine are substantiated.
Practical value. The obtained results of the research can be used in further scientific research and in developing recommendations on the elimination of corruption in Ukraine in the process of improving the domestic legislation aimed at combating this type of crime.
