Publication fee

The academic journal Innovative Economy applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs associated with editorial processing, peer review, and publication of manuscripts.

Payment is required only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following the peer review process.

The amount of the Article Processing Charge (APC) is fixed at the time of manuscript submission and cannot be changed for the author after that date.

Editorial decisions regarding acceptance or rejection are based solely on the scientific quality of the manuscript, its relevance to the journal’s scope, and compliance with publication ethics standards.

The presence or absence of payment, as well as the application of discounts or waivers, does not influence the outcome of peer review or editorial decisions.

The publication fee is determined based on the length of the manuscript.

The cost of publication is 60 UAH per page of text.The total length of the manuscript includes all structural components, including the list of references.

Payment details are provided to the author(s) by the Editorial Office after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

For authors making payments from outside Ukraine, the fee is calculated in the equivalent foreign currency according to the official exchange rate on the date of payment.

Such services:

ü are not mandatory for publication;

ü do not influence peer review outcomes or editorial decisions.

Authors who are doctoral candidates (PhD level) enrolled in state-funded programmes are exempt from APCs, provided that the manuscript is submitted as a single-author work.

Authors applying for a waiver must submit documentation confirming:

ü their status as a doctoral candidate;

ü enrolment in a state-funded programme.

The Editorial Office reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the submitted information.

Decisions regarding APC waivers are made by the Editorial Office based on the submitted supporting documents and apply to a specific manuscript.

Waivers:

ü are granted on a case-by-case basis;

ü do not automatically apply to subsequent submissions by the same author.

APC waivers:

ü are not applicable in cases of co-authorship;
