Dzyadykevych O.Ya. COMPETITIVENESS OF UKRAINIAN GRAINS ON THE WORLD MARKET
Purpose. The purpose of the article is a systematic study of the competitiveness of certain types of Ukrainian grains on the world agrarian market by competitiveness indices and justification of directions of increasing competitiveness of this group of goods.
The object of research is the development of world grain market and competitive advantages of domestic grain on it. The subject of the study is a set of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the formation and implementation of the competitive advantages of Ukrainian grain in the world market.
Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of research is the fundamental positions of modern economic theory, scientific works of scientists on competition and competitiveness. In the process of research, the following methods were used: analysis and synthesis - to study object and subject of research, the index method - to assess the competitiveness of certain types of Ukrainian grain on the world market, the method of comparison - to identify trends and peculiarities of development, monographic - in justifying priorities in formation of competitive advantages of Ukrainian grain.
Findings. The competitiveness of certain types of Ukrainian grains on the world grain market by competitiveness indices was assessed. The tendencies of changing the position of Ukraine on the world grain market are investigated. It is substantiated the strategy of increasing the competitiveness of domestic grain.
Originality of research is to substantiate the directions of increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian grain on the world agrarian market.
Practical value. The results of research can be used by domestic grain market actors to create their own strategies for increasing the competitiveness of grain products and strengthening positions on the world grain market.
