Purpose. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the features and assess the economic efficiency of investment and innovation activities of agrarian enterprises.
Methodology of research. General scientific and special methods of economic research are used in this work, in particular: comparative – for comparison of economic phenomena in different time periods with the purpose of revealing causal relationship; analysis – to characterize features and assess investment and investment activities of agrarian enterprises; system-institutional approach for generalization of interconnections of investment and innovative activity and agrarian enterprises; economic and statistical – at the analysis of the current state of investment support of innovative projects in the agro-industrial production of Ukraine. The research uses the following scientific methods: dialectical and abstract and logical – in carrying out theoretical generalizations, clarifying the conceptual apparatus on the problem of research and formulation of conclusions.
Findings. The theoretical and practical bases of development of investment and innovation activity of agrarian enterprises are considered. The features of investment and investment activity of agrarian enterprises are highlighted. The basic provisions of the theory of formation of innovation activity on development of resource potential of agrarian enterprises are determined. The dynamics of development of resource potential of agrarian enterprises is substantiated. The theoretical and methodological approaches to creating conditions for increasing the ability of agrarian enterprises to further innovative development are described.
Originality. It is necessary to substantiate the methodological, theoretical and scientific-methodical principles and recommendations for improving the influence of investment and investment activity on the development of resource potential of agrarian enterprises.
Practical value. The results of the research can be used by Kamenets-Podilskyi rayon state administration in developing proposals and practical recommendations for substantiating the Economic Development Plan for agriculture for 2019-2020.
