Ksenofontov M.M. SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC PECULIARITIES OF AGRO-ECOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION OF AGRI-FOOD SYSTEMS
Purpose. The aim of the article is to identify the social and economic peculiarities of the agro-ecological transformation of agri-food systems.
Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach to the consideration of social and economic phenomena and processes. In the course of the study, other methods were also used, in particular: abstract and logical – to understand the social and economic peculiarities of agro-ecological transformation of agro-food systems; generalization – to highlight the directions of agro-ecological transformation of agro-food systems, to highlight economic and social advantages and barriers to these processes, to form conclusions of the study, graphic method were utilized to visually represent research findings.
Finding. The importance of agro-ecological transformation of agri-food systems is emphasized. Two prevailing directions of agro-ecological transformation are identified – symbiosis with ecosystems and innovative environmental technologies, economic and social advantages and barriers to agro-ecological transformation are highlighted, which can be used as a basis for the implementation of these processes in Ukraine.
Originality. The author's version of the features of agro-ecological transformation of agri-food systems is presented, which consists in determining the directions, economic and social advantages and barriers of agro-ecological transformation of agri-food systems, which will contribute to solving these problems.
Practical value. The obtained results of the study are aimed at forming the basis for the development of program documents for solving the problems of agro-ecological transformation of agri-food systems, as they structure the features of these processes.
