Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is to study of the peculiarities of project management of corporate structures, its main tasks, principles, criteria for implementation in business thanks to modern digital technologies.

Methodology of research. General scientific and special methods were used in the process of research, in particular: the analytical method was used when reviewing literary sources; the classification method made it possible to differentiate the main components of project management; the method of description is to give them a detailed description; the monographic method was used in the study of literary sources on the digitalization of project management elements; the system and analytical method was applied in the processing of the received information.

Findings. The theoretical, organizational and practical foundations of the development of project management in corporations are considered. It has been established that today there is a modernization and review of a number of issues regarding the effectiveness of the project management system in corporations in connection with the active transition to digitalization. The development vector of project management as the main format of management thinking of corporation managers in the conditions of digitalization has been updated. The role of task managers in the management of corporate projects is defined. The use of information programs-tools for the management of corporate projects is substantiated, defined and proposed.

Originality. There was further development of the substantiation of the software tools for supporting the projects of corporations, which, unlike the existing ones, make the project management process simpler, faster and more convenient for all team members.

Practical value. The submitted proposals of the authors regarding the directions of development of project management can be used by corporations to improve the efficiency of their activities.
