Purpose. The aim of the article is to determine the features of the innovative aspect of management of agricultural enterprises, taking into account the agroecological challenges faced by Ukraine.
Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is a systematic approach to the consideration of social and economic phenomena and processes. In the course of the study, other methods were also used, in particular: abstract and logical – to understand the features of the innovative aspect of agricultural enterprise management, taking into account the agroecological challenges faced by Ukraine; generalization – to highlight the list of agroecological challenges, current measures in response to agroecological challenges and innovations that will contribute to the preparation of effective management responses by the management of agricultural enterprises in response to agroecological challenges, the formation of research conclusions, graphical – to visualize the results of the study.
Findings. The importance of using an innovative approach to prepare a response by the management of agricultural enterprises to existing agroecological challenges is emphasized, which is based on the differentiation of innovations by direction, in particular innovations that intensify the economic activity of agricultural enterprises and innovations aimed at optimizing its components, was emphasized. The number of agroecological challenges for agricultural producers was summarized with the allocation of 5 main types: climate change, environmental standardization of agricultural production, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, pollution control and protection of biodiversity, restoration of natural complexes degraded and affected by war. In accordance with the identified agroecological challenges, a list of relevant measures in response to them was determined for such main groups as agrotechnological measures, water resources management and sustainable land use.
Originality. The expediency of distinguishing innovations by direction, in particular, innovations that intensify the economic activity of agricultural enterprises and innovations aimed at optimizing its components, was emphasized.
Practical value. The obtained results of the study are aimed at forming the basis for improving the management of agricultural enterprises, as they structure the process of managerial decision-making.
