Brechko O.V., Hutsuliak A.I. DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Purpose. The aim of the article is to analyse the digital technological achievements and assessment of their impact on social development and the general transformation of the economy, changing management priorities and prerequisites for accelerating the digital transformation of social development.
Methodology of research. A systematic approach was used to conduct the research, which reflects the role of digital transformation at the global and national levels, as well as the impact of breakthrough technologies on branch penetration into digital and traditional segments of the economy, which include a number of specific methods: normative analysis, structuring, analogy, comparison and analytical generalization to identify the problems of digitization of the economy and find ways to solve them.
Findings. The issue of the implementation of digital technologies and their importance in the modern system of social development, in particular the coverage of various sectors and branches of the economy, is revealed; the main advantages of digitalization for social and economic growth, the readiness of national business entities to use digital technologies and their integration into social programs were investigated. It was determined that the digitization of all industries and sectors of the economy should become a priority direction of the state, through the expansion of digital transformation tools, on the basis of which the dominant value of the digital economy in general will grow.
And the integration of the economy of Ukraine into the global digital space is possible due to the strengthening of the role of information, communication and financial technologies, which can become determining factors of economic growth and improvement of the welfare of society. In general, the innovative and inclusive component of digital transformation is possible through taking advantage of digitization and building digital infrastructure. Given that digital technologies are not without challenges such as the "digital divide", data privacy and security, job displacement and digital overload (intoxication). It is important that society continues to work to mitigate these challenges. Accordingly, work on prevention is designed to eliminate negative phenomena and threats that can become a potential obstacle in the dynamic processes of development of digital technologies.
Originality. Modern approaches to the construction of digital infrastructure have been identified as an integrated set of digital tools, including digital technologies that combine databases, information and analytical centres, and telecommunication networks. Addressing the challenges to societal development brought about by digital technologies, including the "digital divide," data privacy and security, job displacement, and digital overload (intoxication), are substantiated and suggest ways to overcome these challenges. An industry integration approach to the implementation of digitization directions and the advantages of digital technologies, through the function of disruption, is proposed.
Practical value. The obtained results of the research will contribute to revitalization of social development and increasing productivity in the economy of Ukraine from the advantages of digitalization, in the context of its integration into the EU.
